Working with clients over 20 years in hair and beauty, fashion and retail industries has given Dale significant experience in delivering unique results in his own style. The majority of this work has been commercial but Dale has also received private commissions for his furniture over that period and has also worked with clients for private design work.

Dale studied Furniture Design at Loughborough College of Art & Design from 1984 – 1987 moving on to set up his own business CROW in 1988. His first exhibition was held in a London West End gallery Crucial and he has had work published in Elle style magazine and shown in Harrods and The Covent Garden Gallery.

His furniture design takes inspiration from his interest in construction. He incorporates this to push the boundaries of construction and design leading him to deconstruct and find challenging and innovative ways of making furniture. This embraces traditional and contemporary styles to create one-off bespoke pieces.
